New Political Season Soaked in Emotions and Sentiments

The stage for the next political season is set as more interest are being indicated for the position of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The intriguing era resumes with mixed emotions, blackmails and possible political witch-hunting, the usual political Nigerian expectations.

Speaking in Yenagoa, the Spokesman of the Ijaw Political Frontiers urged all Ijaw politicians to play the game of politics with holistic development of the Ijaw nation.

He noted that the voice of Ijaw representatives in national politics is not as loud as it should be as other ethnic groups project their position in national discourse rather our political class are allegedly busy seeking their own interest.

” Ijaw leaders should be cautious not to betray the values of truth and justice which we stand for, they should not forget our collective challenges of economic sabotage and environmental degradation” he added.

He emphasized that in this era, there is a need for more political advocacy to discover possible solutions to ameliorate the sufferings of the common man who survive through the use of our coastal environment.
