NDIOMU MUST GO- EX-MILITANTS PROTEST THE EMBEZZLEMENT OF THEIR AMNESTY ALLOWANCE

The Ex-Militants have taken to the East-West road in protest against their amnesty allowances being deprived. They have put up placards and signs to express their wrath directed towards the Interim Adminstrator of the Presidential Amnesty Scheme, Maj. Gen. Tariye Ndiomu (retd.) for his marginalization of the Niger Deltans under the guise of “ amnesty verification “

The Militants have said that despite successive interim administrators subjecting the amnesty beneficiaries to numerous screening and verification exercises with data and numeration figures available, the latest screening exercise under Ndiomu, is a deceitful ploy to systematically de-list up to 10,000 amnesty beneficiaries by the end of the year.

The Ex-Militants put up placards one of which read
“Okoba Kene. The data must go”

They have bitterly questioned the benefits Ndiomu has brought to the Naija Delta regions. In their words;

“ how many children for Naija Delta, how many Youths Ndiomu don empower? With he army wen he go serve for Nigeria. We fight this fight, suffer, some of us don die, some of us get injury, lifetime injury Dey our body we Dey carry am Dey waka. By Gods grace we are alive.
You get opportunity come office, you come Dey stop our money say you wan do verification. Who verify you before you enter office?”

They have voiced their plight by expressing their reasoning and also questioning the wickedness behind Ndiomu’s action.

“As you don Dey as army man, they stop your retirement benefit. How you go feel? You come here Dey tell us story..”

IYC Lament Over Incessant Military Invasion

They lamented that no military personnel would tolorate the same level of marginalization after rendering meritorious services to their country.

The Ex-Militants have expressed their unyielding resolve to remain mounted at the West-East road until they are credited their amnesty allowance. While some have taken up placards demanding Ndiomu’s removal from office.
