APC Bayelsa talks tough on Insecurity

The All Progressive Congress, APC in Bayelsa state has appealed all Nigerians to collaborate and ensure that the issue of insecurity is tackled regardless of political differences.

The APC in Bayelsa state made this appeal through its flag bearer for Yenagoa Constituency 1, Mr Benjamin Ogbara when he spoke to newsmen in the state capital.

Mr Ogbara noted that the present administration of President Buhari cannot do it alone hence the need for all to join hands to fight insecurity.

While speaking on economy, the APC stalwart said the dwindling economy is not only attributed to Nigeria as other countries are also facing harsh adding that President Buhari has assured that he would not rest until things get better for Nigerians.

While responding to the alleged APC crisis in the state, Mr Ogbara discarded the claims that Chief Timipre Sylva, the leader of the party imposed a candidate on the party rather he said the 24 APC flag bearers that emerged were chosen by the people.

On those who defected from APC to other political parties in the state, he stressed that politics is a game of interest and APC Bayelsa state has the political strength to win upcoming elections in the state.
