Amnesty delegates’ verification committee appeals for patience as committee commences online exercise

By John Ovie

The ad hoc verification committee established by Presidential Amnesty Programme has appealed to all delegates with bank account complications involving invalid BVN or those whose BVN is not linked to accounts, as well as those whose accounts do not exist, to exercise patience as efforts are being made to rectify the issues through an On-line Portal.

Members of the committee have started processing the data inputs of affected accounts to the dedicated website.

The committee has assured delegates that once the committee concludes the online verification and the accounts have been cleared, they will receive their stipends as usual.

The essence of the portal is to enable the affected beneficiaries to upload required relevant information such as name, account number, BVN, camp name and the particular phase the delegate belongs.

With the submission of the above requisite information online, it will be assumed that each individual verification is done.

This is a seamless exercise put in place by management in the interest of delegates.

Therefore, the committee expects the cooperation and understanding of all delegates.
